Overlooking the Swan River and its leafy foreshore, Henley Rise introduces a new residential scale to Como while drawing on the modernist architectural character of its surroundings. Comprising 156 residences across two towers, the development is defined by strong horizontal lines, layered balconies and a measured interplay of solid and transparent surfaces. The composition draws on the proportions and material language of the neighbourhood, establishing a contemporary architectural identity within its evolving urban context. Generous balconies extend living spaces towards the landscape, creating opportunities for outdoor living while offering expansive views of the river and city. Planted terraces and shared spaces introduce a softer, more social dimension to the development, mediating between the collective scale of the buildings and the privacy of individual homes. Henley Rise explores how higher-density living can maintain a connection to place — bringing together an established architectural language, a changing urban environment and the everyday experience of living beside the river.
