Arteur explores how individual residences can be expressed within a coherent architectural composition. Set along Cotham Road in Kew, the architecture is defined by sculptural masonry volumes, deep-set openings and a measured interplay between arched and rectilinear forms. The street-facing residences share a common material language while retaining distinct identities. Layered planting, garden walls and recessed entrances mediate between the public street and private domestic life. Inside, the sculptural expression of the exterior gives way to a quieter spatial character. Generous living spaces are organised around substantial stone kitchens, while pale oak, natural stone and integrated joinery establish a sense of continuity throughout. Floor-to-ceiling glazing opens the interiors towards private gardens, bringing daylight and landscape into the experience of everyday living. Arteur brings together individual expression and architectural order, balancing a strong civic presence with the intimacy and privacy of a home.
