Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, Victoria is a refurbishment of one of Toorak’s earliest homes. Built in 1879, the Victorian mansion was originally designed by Francis Maloney White for pastoralist Archibald Fisken. The project carefully mediates between old and new, preserving architectural details and accents made by White, while revitalising the interior to accommodate contemporary living. The design honours the home’s heritage, weaving together craftsmanship and modern functionality, to house their latest residents.
